Insane 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS

1962 Impala SS Restomod. Has been mechanically rebuilt from front to back. This car is a Los Angeles built, true SS with factory A/C. Ermine white paint is 80% original. All original steel. The aqua interior is new. Seats, seat foam, sound deadening, carpet, door panels, and kick panels have been replaced. The steering wheel has been refurbished. All interior chrome is in very good condition. The AM radio is original and works. Classic Instruments gauges have been installed. The exterior trim and emblems are in very good condition. Bumpers show some pitting in the chrome but shine bright in sunlight. Despite its original paint and patina, this car has undergone a complete mechanical restoration. I have a binder full of receipts that total over $15,000 in parts alone. Buyer will get binder and photo album detailing the rebuild. This car rides and drives like a new car.

Here are the details:

• Completely rebuilt the original 327 with mild cam, 210 valves, and new carb. Resprayed and cosmetically restored. All new rubber, belts, hoses, etc.
• Installed new 700R4 automatic transmission.
• Rebuilt rear-end, installed 3.73 gears, repainted with correct matte black and red oxide primer.
• Chassis and undercarriage stripped and repainted. Have pics of under-body before respray.
• Front inner fenders stripped and resprayed, firewall stripped and resprayed in Ermine White.
• Added front disc brakes from Hubbards, new brake lines, rebuilt rear drums, added new upgraded brake booster.
• Installed CPP front A-arm suspension, new shocks, all new bushings, and MOOG springs.
• Replaced original A/C with Vintage Air Gen IV system.
• Installed CG&J custom aluminum radiator.
• New fuel tank, fuel pump, and lines installed.
• New wiring harness, electrical components (voltage regulator, solenoid, starter, etc.)
• 18″/20″ American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, polished.
• Cosmetically refurbished exhaust manifolds and installed new exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers.
• Rebuilt wiper motor and cosmetically refurbished articulation and arms.
• Cosmetically refurbished trunk, installed new trunk mats. Original spare tire and jack are still in the trunk.
