The top 10 most expensive cars sold at Mecum Anaheim this weekend were a little surprising to me. Maybe because auto auctions are always an interesting display of cat and mouse. Buyers throwing their “measuring sticks” on the table hoping to get a car that they have deemed a must-have grail. Seeing a person spend more on a car than I will make in a lifetime is hard to describe. Self indulgent and foolish are a couple words that cross my mind but that’s because I’m man enough to admit I am just jealous. The truth is, I would love to be there with the cool guys and drop massive amounts of disposable income on my dream-car, a ’62 Ford Falcon Futura. Someday boys… someday. Anyway, I digress.
