This Man Won Netflix's Fastest Car in a 1927 Dodge Brothers Hot Rod
Corey Caouette is proof that living with a disability doesn’t have to stop you from building the car of your dreams. And driving the hell out of it! Thanks to innovation and modern technology, Corey built and drives this 1927 Dodge Brothers Coupe, which he has masterminded into a wicked hot rod pickup truck.
You may have seen Corey on Netflix’s series Fastest Car, where he went up against a combination of supercars and hand built race cars, including a 1,000 horsepower 2016 Ford GT. HE BEAT THEM in an epic drag race. But what makes this old car so fast, you may ask?
The ’27 Dodge is packing a 388 LS engine plus two 60mm turbos and with the current gearing setup Corey can easily muster a whopping 160mph top speed out of the hot rod in the blink of an eye. Corey completed the project ten years ago and has been upgrading it ever since into a perfect cross between a classic hot rod and ultimate track weapon. We’re very excited to see what else Corey has in store for this incredible Dodge hot rod!
