Win A 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Restomod!
If you’ve been following Restomods for a while, you’ll know that we regularly put our money where our mouth is, and give away amazing cars. Last time around we gave away a Ford Mustang Fastback to Jason Close of Silver Spring, Maryland. This time, it’s Chevy fans’ turn to be excited. We’re giving away an amazing 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle SS restomod. It’s been worked on by members of Jay Leno’s Garage and is a machine to die for. Let’s take a closer look at it.
First things first, let’s talk about the engine. It’s powered by the legendary 454 LS5, which has a 10:1 compression ratio and an output of 550 horsepower. Hooked up to this, complete with matching numbers, the car has a 4-speed Muncie Rock Crusher transmission. The engine has long tube headers, while the transmission is topped off with a Hurst shifter. To provide cooling to the engine, we’ve fitted a new aluminum radiator, and stopping power is provided by all-new power brakes.
The car is a rotisserie, frame off restoration, with fewer than 500 miles on the clock. Inside, the car’s been updated just as beautifully as on the outside and under the hood. The interior has been customized by the aforementioned folks from Jay Leno’s garage, and has been fitted with Vintage Air. When you drive it, you’ll also notice the incredible new suspension that’s been tinkered with to maximize performance and stance. Want to win this car? It’s easy: just enter our sweepstakes!
