Young Drag Racer Lydia Smokes the Competition in her '69 Chevy Nova
Here is another incredible restomod that immediately got our attention at Quarantine Cruise #7 in Huntington Beach, CA. This yellow ’69 Chevy Nova belongs to Lydia, and not only does she drive this amazing car, she drag races it too!
Her grandfather was the original owner and she grew up watching him build this Nova over the course of many years. He sold it to a friend from the Netherlands who raced it there for nearly 8 years, and Lydia’s family was able to buy it back and bring it home to the states. Lydia has had the car for just a few short months and she is already tearing up drag strips in her area.
The Nova features a 383 Chevy stroker and every drag racer’s dream: a nitrous kit for extra horsepower on the track! Lydia recently ran a 6.88 in the 1/8th mile, leaving the competition in the dust! Let us know in the comments what you think of this badass drag racing Nova!
